Welcome to the Kindness Notes community! By participating in the Kindness Notes project, purchasing or registering notes, or interacting with our online space, you are agreeing to join us in building a supportive, creative, and respectful movement.
Nature of the Project
Kindness Notes are symbolic social and artistic items designed to encourage kindness, creativity, connection, and positive action. They are NOT financial products, investment products, securities, cryptocurrencies, or forms of currency.
Core Guidelines
Basic ground rules for participating in the Kindness Notes movement.
Voluntary Participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. You are free to keep, gift, exchange, display, collect, or pass on your notes.
No Financial Guarantees
We offer no guarantees of future value, demand, returns, or appreciation. Assigning value is entirely subjective.
Note Ownership
Physical notes belong to their current holder. Possession does not grant rights to project trademarks or IP.
Project Changes
We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue elements of the project at any time.
Acceptance
Purchasing, registering, or holding a Kindness Note indicates your agreement with these community conditions.
Community Standards & Sharing
Building a movement around positivity, creative connection, and community safety.
Sharing & Inspiration
We love seeing how you spread smiles. We encourage sharing:
- Inspiring stories of kindness
- Creative photographs of note journeys
- Uploading custom artwork designs
- Messages of support to receivers
- Volunteer hub cleanups & events
Prohibited Conduct
To keep our spaces friendly and safe, you must not use notes to promote:
- Illegal activities or fraud
- Hate speech or harassment
- Violence or physical threats
- Offensive, sexual, or harmful content
- Toxic community behaviors
Detailed Clauses
Review specific details regarding content submission, guidelines, and project ownership.
Participants may choose to contribute stories, artwork, messages, or positive experiences connected to a Kindness Note.
By submitting content to our platform, you:
- Grant Do4Kind permission to display, archive, or promote your submission as part of the public journeys of Kindness Notes.
- Retain ownership of your original artwork and creative intellectual work unless separately agreed upon.
- Ensure that your submissions do not infringe on the intellectual property of others.
We believe in maintaining a space focused on positive, constructive connections. Do4Kind reserves the absolute right to remove, block, or delete any content or user submission that conflicts with project values, promotes toxic messaging, or violates community guidelines.
Repeated violations may result in account termination, suspension from volunteer hubs, or banning of note serial registration access.
Ownership of a physical Kindness Note belongs entirely to the person holding or possessing the note.
However, holding a physical note does not provide you with ownership rights or licenses to:
- The Kindness Notes project itself or Do4Kind brand trademarks.
- Core graphic designs, codebases, illustrations, or system layouts.
- Copyrights, database contents, or proprietary platform technologies.
Financial disclaimer: Do4Kind makes no promise or guarantee regarding future value, resale values, community demand, financial returns, or appreciation of notes over time. Any value assigned is purely subjective.
Scope variations: We reserve the right to update, suspend, modify, or completely discontinue any component, registration service, or tracking features of the project at our discretion without prior notice.
